Those Pesky Birds

We read a lot of books around the house. Just Be Nice to Your Little Friends is a regular in the rotation; we probably read it 3-4 times a week. The other night, Jubi picked it for a bedtime story. Jon turned to this page,

"Rabbit, what are you doing?" asked Piglet.
"These pesky birds are eating my vegetables!" Rabbit cried.
"I'm trying to scare them away."

Also, just a little PS regarding my last entry. Zephyr has been filling in the details about childhood marriage. He says they don't have to have a wedding to be married. "How do children get married, then?" I asked. "They just appear to be in love," he explained.

He also says they don't have to dance.

Well, you certainly don't have to fear your children lack an imagination or brains because they obviously have a lot of both :) And so cute on top of it!

Oh my oh my. I LOVE the way she says "pesky". Almost like she really knows what it means, at less than 2. She could write her dissertation on the subject, perhaps. What a sweetie.

Hey, what was the starter you started? Bread?

Nora, I knew she was brilliant and very verbose but man, that charmed the heck out of me. My whole family has watched it multiple times. Cutest thing I've seen in a long time!
