A few years ago, a friend of mine posted in her blog what gifts her children were receiving for the holidays. I liked reading it, and I think it would be fun to look back on it, since these are the kinds of things Jon and I always forget. So, what did Zephyr receive this year? His main gift is a wheelbarrow- a nice one. He said he wanted one, so we found one just his size. We also gave him a toddler sized shovel and some percussion instruments (maybe not what most parents would choose when there's an infant in the house...)
And even though she was just one week old, it didn't seem right to let Jubilee's first Christmas pass ungifted. She received a toy called a Baby Whoosit and two books- Counting Kisses and Ten Little Fingers. Her older brother opened her gifts for her, not entirely enthusiastically.
Also, they both received the pajamas in the picture above. It was the one gift "they" were allowed to open on Christmas Eve. This is going to be a new family tradition.
